London Low Emission Zone Overview
The London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) comes into effect from the 3/1/2012. It has been brought in to reduce the particulate matter in the air of the city, and the zone covers most of Greater London.
It is possible to drive within the new LEZ after the 3rd January 2012 with a vehicle that does not comply with the new regulation, but a charge will be made.
