Have you recently left the UK Armed Forces?
Are you in transition and working with CTP?
Are you thinking of starting your own business?
If you've answered yes to the above then Vanarama can help you with our Business in a Box initiative for anyone that has recently left or is in transition from the UK Armed Forces.
Business in a Box is a support initiative designed to make the lives of anyone starting their own business easier. We are offering a range of support and products that will take away some of the stress and financial barriers from starting a new business.
The initiative is available to anyone in transition from or recently left the three main armed forces - British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy.
What do you get with Business in a Box?
Working with a number of partners including Metro Bank, Vistaprint and Just Vehicle Graphics we will provide recipients with a number of products including:
- Initial deposit paid by Vanarama on a new vehicle lease (3 x monthly rentals up to £900)
- Logo design
- Website design
- Business cards and stationery
- Vehicle signwriting
A new vehicle to keep your new business moving
One of the biggest challenges a new business faces is having a reliable vehicle to ensure they can operate their business. Financing a new asset like this can be a challenge for most people, and in fact investing significant capital into a depreciating asset when you could use this money elsewhere to grow your business doesn't make sense. So, Vanarama intend to make it easy and affordable by paying your initial deposit (3 x monthly rentals, up to £900 inc vat).
Vanarama customer Alan Cooke of AC Plumbing and Heating Services formerly served in the Armed Forces and now runs his own plumbing and heating business. He understands perfectly the challenges of leaving the Army and starting a business. He commented at how invaluable this initiative would have been to him when he started out.
How will Vanarama help?
The first thing that we will do is help you lease your vehicle, as your vehicle will be key to your business. Vanarama will pay the initial deposit on your van or car. You will have a point of contact from Vanarama throughout the process, and they will work with you to build your website and create your company logo. Once we have your website and logo sorted, we will start work on your business stationary, i.e. business cards.
Who is Business in a Box aimed at?
The initiative is perfect for any serving member of the UK Armed Forces (British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force) that is going through the transition into civilian life and interested in starting their own business. We also welcome applications from ex forces that have left within the last two years and wish to start their own business.
