Carnatomy: The Ford Focus Diesel Hatchback and why it’s a top choice for car leasing

In this week's edition of Carnatomy, we take a look at the Ford Focus Diesel Hatchback and why its looks and handling keep it at the top of peoples' car leasing list.

One of the star performers in the hatchback market, the Ford Focus Diesel Hatchback 1.5 TDCi 120 Titanium Navigation 5dr is the perfect blend of style, function and performance. Did you know that Ford builds a Focus every 90 seconds and sells over 1.5 million units each year? In the light of day, those are incredible figures and a testament to the Focus' design that it remains such a popular car.

It's a proven performer with our customers, with reviews on the site including positive comments such as "it drives superbly", that it's "a very nice car for the money", and "packs a great spec". Particular customer highlights are the heated seats, rear-view camera, parking sensors and the excellent air con. So, why not take a look at the deals we can offer?

Great looks

One of the most prominent styling choices on the Ford Focus is its front grille – it's the same one as used on the Mondeo and Fiesta, and pulls the Focus into line with the new Ford 'family look'. At Vanarama Cars we think it looks excellent, and really fits the Focus' look with its sharp lines and alloy wheels.

Inside, the Focus is packed with gadgets with a focal point being the company's new multimedia system that features an 8-inch touch screen and DAB digital radio.

Efficient power

The 1.5-litre diesel engine has had a lot of work poured into it to make it as efficient and powerful as possible. The size of the engine has dropped from the previous 1.6-litre version without losing the grunt that Focus fans love, and by far the best thing about the new engine is that its emission figures are so low that its free to tax!

The official figures say fuel consumption could be as good as 74.3mpg, but most average users will reach figures of around 50mpg, which is still an incredibly good figure. Just another feather in the cap of a continuing performer in the car leasing market.
