Current Citroen Berlingo Offers
The Citroen Berlingo is well known already as a practical, hardworking and comfortable van – and now the auto maker has built on that with the launch of the New Berlingo – which has been designed to be more secure and offer more space inside.
At first glance, the Berlingo looks stylish, with a smooth profile, and flowing lines – while it looks tough enough to do its job, thanks to the wraparound bumpers.
The Berlingo is not one of the big vans, but it is big on space, with a 3.7m3 volume of cargo room and a payload of up to 851kg. And flexibility is the key word here – you can load two euro pallets on board and the back doors open up to a very accommodating 180 degrees, which is ideal if you have to back up to loading bays
You can choose from a number of bulkheads - the half-height steel bulkhead that features a removable panel is really useful. It means you can divide up the load space as you like, to accommodate whatever you need to carry – whether it’s tools or boxes – or both. For instance, put the bulkhead behind the driver’s seat, fold down the passenger seat and you have extra length to accommodate things like ladders. The load space has a tough synthetic floor to keep it looking good, and six chrome-plated anchorage points are useful for keeping your load tied down and secure.
Easy loading is part of the package too – choose from nearside and offside side loading doors.
There are a number of engines to choose from, including a 625 L1 1.16i 16V 90hp petrol version, and a number of diesel engines – the platform cab bodyshape coming with the choice of a 1.6HDi 16V 90hp version. Body shapes include a Panel Van, Platform Cab and Combi.
There are two models, the Berlingo X and the Berlingo LX; each comes in an L1 or L2 version, with the Berlingo X also available as a panel van.*
