If you need a reliable, economic vehicle to transport goods in a refrigerated environment, the Citroen Berlingo L1 1.6 HDi LX Fridge Van is the perfect answer. With similar styling as a small box van, but the added feature of a refrigerated cargo unit, this vehicle is perfect for anyone transport fresh products, whether it's food, drinks or something different.

Part of the French manufacturer's popular Berlingo range, the L1 1.6 HDi LX Fridge Van is compact yet accommodating. The look is contemporary and slick, with the small addition of a ventilation unit on the roof of the car, in order to keep the refrigeration elements in order. Bold black bumpers and side trim, as well as a side-loading door, add to the practicality of the van.

In terms of the cargo space, there is an impressive amount of space in ratio to the overall size of the vehicle. You can fit cargo up to1.25m in height, 1.8m in length and 1.62m in width into the Fridge Van. However, it remains agile and manoeuvrable, at an overall size of 1.843m height, 4.38m length and 2.112m width. It can also take a 560kg payload.

There are three seats in the cab, including a dual passenger bench seat. While the cab is not laden with features, it is comfortable and includes sat nav, trip computer and radio/CD/MP3 player for convenience and entertainment.

The engine is great on fuel economy, balancing the power needed to make this a respectable and safe vehicle with a desire to attain the best efficiency possible. The diesel eight-valve engine is driven by a five-speed manual gearbox and produces 75 bhp. Emissions are just 136 g/km, in line with Euro 5 emissions standards and you can expect a massive 53.9 mpg. Insurance costs are available on requests, but the functional, practical and secure elements on this van mean it is reasonable in terms of running costs.
