The Citroen Nemo Diesel 1.3 HDi Enterprise is small, quirky and versatile, with unique styling, an ample cargo area and superb fuel efficiency and performance. For anyone looking for a small box van, this has to be high on your shortlist.

Looking at the Citroen Nemo Diesel 1.3 HDi Enterprise, it is more similar to the aggressive 'hot hatchback' designs that are favoured by many young drivers than a small van. The obvious thing that sets it apart is the lack of rear windows – however, the curves and slopes, rounded corner headlights and bold large black grille and bumpers make it that little bit more than just a commercial vehicle.

Inside the cab, there is an 'Extenso' foldable front passenger seat that can be lowered to create extra storage space, while a radio/CD and MP3 player will ensure driver and passenger alike will be entertained. There are also the convenient touches of Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensor and manual air conditioning, allowing you to enjoy the ride in comfort.

The entire vehicle is agile and manoeuvrable, clocking in at 1.721m high, 3.864 long and 2.019m wide. However, there is still an impressive amount of space in the back loading area. Cargo can be stored up to a height of 1.181m, a length of 1.046m and a width of 1.473m. The rear loading area has two doors to access from the back and a sliding side-load door as well, making it easy to get the most from the space and pack the load efficiently. There are also six lashing points in order to secure items firmly. The car's kerbweight is 1090kg and it accepts a payload of 660kg, making it light and sprightly even when fully loaded.

On top of all of those things is the Nemo's arguably most attractive feature – its efficiency. The diesel engine produces 75 bhp and a top speed of 98 mph, controlled by a manual transmission five-speed gearbox. It achieves a massive 65.7 mpg, meaning that fuel costs are incredibly low compared to other vehicles in its class. Insurers can give prices on request, but all-in-all, the running costs for this vehicle are incredibly impressive.

Nemo 1.3 HDI 660 75 Enterprise - Only had the vehicle for a few days but what a great little van. More spacious then you think form the outside especially thanks to the clever folding passenger seat. Very quick little engine, a pleasure to drive. All of the extras make this van a very affordable and comfortable little run around. I can only rate reliability one star as I have not had it for long enough to judge.
