The Fiat Fiorino Cargo Diesel 1.3 16V Multijet Van is a perfect small van for individuals, contractors and small businesses. It is smart and professional, as well as agile and functional. Most of all, however, it is efficient – making it ideal if you're looking for something practical that helps to keep the costs down.
The exterior of the Fiorino Cargo Diesel combines the stylised looks of Fiat's car range with the utility of a small commercial vehicle. Large bumpers and contrasting trim are combined with emphasised wheel arches, to give a look that is pleasing but practical. There are doors to the two-seat cabin and at the rear, as well as a side door that allows you to access the cargo load with ease.
Internally, the vehicle does not offer a lot of fancy gadgets or entertainment options, but it does have a number of features to make your ride a comfortable and safe one. There is a radio and CD player, as well as a driver's airbag and, height and lumbar adjustable seats and a height adjustable steering wheel.
In terms of the cargo area, there is a 1.502m load length, 1.2m load height and 1.473m load width, suitable for a range of items, but particularly suitable for work tools and lighter materials. It can take a 610kg payload, which gives a total 1700kg vehicle weight when added to the kerbweight. The total dimensions of the van are 3.864m length, 1.721m height and 1.716m width excluding mirrors – making it compact enough to compete with most saloon and estate cars.
The best part about this vehicle is the fuel economy. The diesel engine may not be the most powerful, providing 75 bhp, but you get a huge 62.8 mpg. As you'd expect, this is reflected in the emissions, which are 119 g/km. These great features are reflected in very reasonable insurance and tax costs.
