With Hyundai's rear-wheel-drive panel van, they've created a medium-sized vehicle to rival the Ford Transit. This is a great-value vehicle which is ideal for businesses who need a fleet. Its 2.5L turbo diesel creates some pretty decent pulling power, and 34mpg engine power and 253lb of torque means you'll get brute strength without the excessive fuel consumption.
The maximum load weight of 1062kg means the Classic Van is built for heavy loads, and there is plenty of space as well. The load volume totals a hefty 4.3 cubic metres, and there's a generous length of 2375mm available. This van falls within insurance group N and emissions group Euro 4. The interior dimensions are 1.6 x 1.4 x 2.4m and offers the standard 3 seats. Inside the Classic Van it's not necessarily plush but the materials are robust and hard-wearing; so it's easy to feel confident it will comfortably take some wear and tear and can deal with spills.
Essentially it's as neat and clean as you'd want from a working vehicle. The colour scheme is dark grey, to work with the exterior's metallic silver paintwork. As expected there's air conditioning, electric windows, plenty of cabin storage and an adjustable steering column. There is also a built in Satellite Navigation, radio, CD player and mp3 compatibility, great if you want to plug in your own player. Hyundai's Classic Van is well designed for purpose and is surprisingly user-friendly for the price.
Two side-loading doors makes this a superior contender in the van world, and at much better value than its obvious rivals, this is definitely a van you'll want to test-drive in the run up to stocking your fleet. Even if you're only looking for a singular van, the Classic will give you all you need at a very competitive price.
