Fiesta Van Econetic revealed
29 Oct, 2009
Following closely on the heels of the Transit, Ford has unveiled its latest low carbon ECOnetic light commercial in the shape of the 98g/km Fiesta Van.
Power comes from a 90hp 1.6-litre TDCi diesel fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter as standard, it runs on 14in steel wheels shod with low rolling resistance Michelin Energy tyres and the suspension has been lowered slightly to help reduce drag, along with small air deflectors sited on the leading edge of the rear wheelarches.
With a gross payload of 493kg the latest addition to the Fiesta Van line-up is believed to be the first sub-100g/km of CO2 light commercial to be available in the UK.
