Durability and fuel efficiency – they’re the watchwords when it comes to Isuzu’s pickup trucks. They are designed to be reliable whether you use them for pleasure or for work.
Isuzu’s history of making trucks goes back more than 100 years, and the newest trucks offer you better balance and performance, with better stability and road holding, whatever the weather conditions.
Under the bonnet, the Euro 5 compliant diesel engine offers improved performance and fuel efficiency – the 2.5l twin-turbo common-rail diesel engine gives maximum power of 120kW/163 PS and 400Nm of torque.
Isuzu trucks are well-known for their reliability, but for added peace of mind, the D-Max models come with a five-year warranty.
When it comes to safety, Isuzu has come up with side and curtain airbags along with driver and passenger airbags, while the front section of the cab has been designed to absorb energy should there be a collision. Side-impact intrusion bars are also included. ISOFIX points for child seat and pre-tensioning seatbelts make it even safer.
But Isuzu doesn’t stop there – Electronic Stability control, LED rear combination lamps, daytime running lights and ABS are on offer, along with window jam protection, which stops windows shutting if they are obstructed.
Isuzu has improved the comfort levels inside the cabin – there’s better head and legroom for passengers whether they are in the back or front seats – and access is better too, with A-pillar grab handles and wider doors.
The seats are ergonomically designed and noise levels have been reduced. Other neat touches include storage compartments and cup holders.
Remote central locking and air conditioning are included as is a stereo system with six speakers – iPod and Bluetooth connectivity are also built-in – and this can all be controlled from the steering wheel, to keep your hands where they belong.
