The 110 Defender Utility Wagon is a versatile 4x4 with the size and loading capabilities of a commercial van. It retains the same classic, sturdy Defender look, but with an extended length for increased capacity, making it the most practical and capable Land Rover van on offer.

Like with any Defender, off-road the Utility Wagon dominates offerings from other manufacturers. It might not be the most luxurious or comfortable ride, but the 110 Defender is magnificently capable on demanding terrain. For transportation off-road, the Defender is your best choice.

It terms of fuel efficiency, the 110 Utility Wagon runs at 25.7 mpg, only 0.2 higher than its standard hard top counterpart. Under the hood, it’s the same story; a 122 bhp TDCi diesel engine combined with a manual 6-speed gearbox makes this a solid choice for towing work.But where the 110 Defender Utility Wagon really excels is its sheer size; this model boasts a respectable 1.7m x 1m x 0.7m load capacity. If space is a priority the Utility Wagon has the edge over the standard hard top Defenders, while still providing the off-road handling and sheer versatility that the series is known for.

Radio pre-wiring is installed as standard, but a CD/radio combo and dash mounted speakers are available as an extra. Like with all Defenders, their appeal has never been about luxury, it’s all about reliability and practical power.

With most Land Rover vans fitting between the 25-28 insurance groups, the 110 Utiilty Wagon sits at approx. 28, the extra size makes it a little more costly than the standard Hard Top variants. But on the plus side, the Euro 4 fuel efficiency band means that the Defender utility Wagon qualifies for the lowest level of road tax, as well as avoiding payments under London's Low Emission Zone policy.

Defender 110 Lwb Diesel Utility Wagon TDCi - I like Landrover Defenders because they do a very specific job better than any other 4x4 -they score low on most of your choices above but are a very reassuring vehicle to have in arduos conditions or terrain.
