Dorset could be next to lose speed cameras

Van contract hire drivers could soon find they no longer have to worry about speed cameras when in Dorset.
The county is likely to be the next in the country to scrap speed cameras following budget cuts.
Dorset's road safety partnership has said it cannot rule out the move after the government drastically reduced the amount of money it gives to local authorities to fund road safety programmes.
Bournemouth Council, Poole Council and Dorset County Council have chosen to pass on these cuts directly to the Dorset Safety Camera Partnership, rather than spread them across other departments.
Councillor Peter Finney, transport chief at Dorset County Council, told the BBC: "This is the money we get directly from government and we cannot ask rate payers to fork out money to keep the partnership going.
"What we have to say to the partnership is that 'we are very sorry but we have to correspondingly reduce our funding to you'.
It follows this week's announcement that transport authorities in Oxford will be switching off its speed cameras also because of funding cuts.
