Fiat Doblo Cargo named International Van of the Year 2011

The Cargo version of Fiat's popular van leasing model the Doblo has been crowned International Van of the Year 2011 at this year's IAA Commercial Vehicles Fair in Hannover.
It achieved 128 out of a possible 168 points, from a jury made up of 24 specialist commercial vehicle trade journalists, each representing a different country.
Chairman of the International Van of the Year jury Pieter Wieman said the jury had been impressed with the Doblo's wide range of engines, driving qualities and high level of comfort.
"The winning van design had impressed the jury on a number of fronts and above all by the fact that Fiat has succeeded in widening the number of platform and body varieties to a higher number than any other van in this category," he added.
Including the Cargo, the Fiat Doblo comes in a total of seven varieties.
Other vans in the Fiat commercial vehicle range include the Ducato, Fiorino and Scudo.
