Fleet Logistics Claim Fleets are Missing out on Cost Savings

A new report from Fleet Logistics suggests that many fleet managers are overspending due to a lack of knowledge and data about discounts which apply to them from several areas of motoring manufacture.

Fleet Logistics has developed a web based reporting software called Fleet Global to help fleet managers which operate on a global scale to take full advantage of discounts which are given by manufacturers and other suppliers when bulk purchases are made from them.

The software consolidates the data and presents it in meaningful form to the management team.

Peter Soliman, CEO at Fleet Logistics said: "This is becoming increasingly crucial as more and more fleets are organized on a global level. But without this data, and without this degree of transparency, the international fleet manager forfeits substantial value.

"This approach also applies to other fleet commodities such as insurance, tires or any other aspect of fleet operations the organisation is responsible for buying itself. Without the right consolidated data, the organisation will never be able to maximise its buying power on a global level."

Fleet Logistics has around 100,000 vehicles across Europe and uses Fleet Global to ensure it takes full advantage of any cost savings afforded to it.

International fleet managers are using the software by uploading details of their fleets into the software, and obtaining key information on regional, local, and international level.

The software is also highlighting financial information in 50 countries throughout the world.
