FSG Fleet Management Company Sold to U.S Business

FSG, an independent fleet management company has been sold to a U.S based business.

The sale which has gone through on the eve of the company's 25th anniversary was described by its chairman Geoffrey Bray as an "exciting new era for the company, its staff and its customers.

"Both FSG and ARI are privately-owned family business and have a similar ethos of partnering with customers and driving efficiency through pro-active management and a zero-tolerance approach to unauthorised expenditures. Both organisations partner with their customers to create solutions that enables a fleet to perform at peak efficiency.

"Existing FSG and ARI customers will benefit from the expertise, skills and range of services that we each provide.

"Both organisations already offer turnkey solutions for public and private sector fleets. Added value for our customers will be achieved through synergies from joining the ARI family."

FSG began in 1987 and now provides fleet management to 55,000 commercial vehicles comprising of cars and vans throughout the U.K

The ARI group is the second largest fleet management company in North America and it employs around 2000 offices throughout the region including Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Traditionally ARI has focused on fleets of a complex nature, and when FSG's 55,000 units are added into the exiting amount of vehicles the company manages, the total figure for ARI will hit 850,000 fleet managed commercial vehicles.

The head office for the company is based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
