Fleet drivers that use van contract hire may benefit from a new publication from the Freight Transport Association (FTA).
The organisation has released the 15th edition of its International Road Transport Guide.
It offers information to help UK-based fleet operators and drivers to better understand the road regulations of a large number of foreign countries.
"International road transport operators are often faced with a confusing array of local and national regulations that they do not encounter in the UK," said Don Armour, the FTA's international manager and editor of the publication.
"The new guide is more comprehensive than ever before and with no price increase this year, any operator involved in international road transport will find it fantastic value."
Additions to the 2010 edition include an expanded list of countries covered, updated information on public holidays and advice on ferry services.
The FTA recently announced the launch of the Van Excellence Code a voluntary code of conduct for van fleet drivers.
