Van drivers escape tax hike
A victory for commercial vehicles, as Chancellor Hammond spares van owners from a tax increase in the 2017 Autumn Budget. Vanarama's Laura Day reports.
It's true! On Wednesday 22nd November the Chancellor announced that the rising tax burden hitting diesel cars in April 2018, will NOT impact van drivers.
The Chancellor said that "no white van man, and no white van woman" will be hit by the tax hike.
This is brilliant news for all you van drivers out there that rely on your vehicle as a mode of transport, office, tool store and critical method of advertising.
For another year your business is free from the threat of rising tax. Fantastic news!
