It's show time next month in the world of vans and pick-ups, with the Commercial Vehicle show 2013. While the prospect might not set your pulse racing immediately, look closer and the vast array of new van models being shown by the manufacturers and it's sure to make the heart skip a beat, of even the most battle-weary van driver.
Ford alone will be showcasing more than 15 vehicles. As well as the all-new Ford Transit Custom, the all-new Ford Transit Connect and the all-new Ford Transit, the leading manufacturer will also be releasing more details on the, eagerly awaited, all-new Ford Transit Courier.
The CV show should see the first viewing of the Ford Transit Courier, a small van, which is based on the Fiesta platform. This is a new market segment for Ford and pits it against the likes of the Citroen Nemo.
Van drivers looking forward to increased choice in this small van segment, will have to wait a little longer though. The Ford Transit Courier is expected to be available in the UK in late 2014.
