A new Nissan van could soon become available for van contract hire after it was unveiled at the Commercial Vehicles Fair in Hannover this week.
Called the NV400, Nissan describes it as a heavy van and says it will be released across Europe next year.
"In front of you is Nissan's response to the customers that need a reliable, efficient and capable van," Gilles Normand, corporate vice-president of Nissan, told press at the motor show.
"We present today the NV400 in its quasi-final production version, which offers a distinctive and genuine design."
Mr Normand also confirmed that Nissan will release a small zero-emission van in 2013.
Also on show by Nissan this week in Germany is a new addition to the NV200 series.
Called the NV200 Evalia, it is the third variant in the range and is designed for passengers, with seating for up to seven adults.
