Nissan unveils refrigerated version of NV200

A new addition to the Nissan NV200, one of many models available for van contract hire, has been announced.

The Japanese manufacturer has unveiled a refrigerated version of the van, converted by French company Gruau SA.

To be made available across Europe from next year, the NV200 Refrigerated van is ideal for transporting fresh goods in urban environments thanks to its compact design, Nissan claims.

"The NV200 has already proved to be the right response to the requirements of a large number of businesses around the world," said Dany Boulenger, general manager of marketing strategy at Nissan.

"In Europe, we want to offer a reliable, agile and capable tool to the many businesses that every day make it possible to find fresh food in the busy centres of our cities."

The van will feature a load capacity of 2.2 cubic metres and can accommodate different optional configurations such as shelves and waterproof floor.

This week, Nissan revealed a new heavy van, the NV400, at the Commercial Vehicles Fair in Hannover.
