As Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon said, 'What's dangerous is not to evolve'. We strongly agree, so have been working hard to develop the Vanarama website. Whether you are on the road with your mobile or phablet, taking time out in front of the TV with your tablet or visiting us on your PC, we believe we have designed a site that will give you all the professional, independent help you need in choosing your ideal new van and how you buy it, in an easy to use format, whatever device you're using.
If you have visited the site after hearing or seeing one of our adverts, or found us via an internet search engine, then no doubt you will have visited other van leasing providers. We always recommend shopping around to ensure you get the best deal for you and your business. The great thing about the internet is that it's a great leveller and anyone can build a website for a few hundred pounds. Throw in a few quid for Google advertising and you can start getting enquiries pretty quickly. The problem with that of course is that for you as a customer it's hard to see the wheat from the chaff and decide who best to place your business and, more importantly, your trust with. Following extensive research with a large sample of our database, including those who hadn't bought, it became clear very quickly that overall our previous website and those of our competitors were all pretty similar. Most use a similar layout and offer similar deals on similar vehicles. Most, if not all, will also use the same stock images from the same web data provider.
It was easy to see why some customers would remain confused and even a little skeptical about who we were and what they could expect from us. It was our feeling that we did more than most to give our customers the reassurance that we are so much more than a web based broker, but we need to do a lot more.
We know that if we want to be taken seriously by all of our customers then we have to be very different; the investment made in this new site is twenty times that of any other site we have launched before.
We hope that the huge investment we've made in making this new version as user-friendly and as informative as possible will make it clear that we take pride in what we do and are serious about how we do it.
You will be investing a lot in a new van. So you want to see what it looks like from every possible angle in all of the popular colour options.
We have built our own photo studio and taken professional shots of every type of van and colour option that we supply.
What's more the van even gives a twirl in a 360 degree video, with doors open, shut and everything in between to help give you the best possible views.
We really have been busy bees. Take a look here at our time lapse camera shots to see how we created the photo gallery.
You really need neutral advice on the different types of vans to help you choose your perfect workmate.
In our aim to become the Which? of van leasing sites, we have invested heavily in video reviews carried out by our very own Jeremy Clarkson - a highly respected independent journalist from the van world. He provides a no holds barred review on every van we supply, pitching them against competitors in the field. Whether you want to know about the driving experience, design, practicality and costs, or vehicle specification, the video review will give you all the information you require. The million dollar question... how much will a van cost to run on a daily basis?
It's all very well buying a new van, but our clever running costs calculator will help you determine if you can afford to keep it going.
All you have to do is input how long the lease you want is and how many miles you estimate you will drive over that time. We'll do the maths and abracadabra - you are told how much a van will cost you to run per mile, including all servicing, maintenance and fuel. Why don't you try it out here?
If expert independent journalist reviews aren't enough for you, then why not take a look at these reviews 'straight from the horse's mouth'. Our customers don't lie and their assessments of vans direct from the coal face will give you an honest opinion of the van you are looking at.
