Parking app could benefit van leasing firms

Companies with a large number of van leasing drivers may benefit from a new mobile application showing the best places to park.
Parkopedia.com is one of the world's largest resources for parking information and has now released a new version of its popular AA Parking app.
The new program was developed in response to customer feedback from previous iterations.
Information on hundreds of new car parks is now included, along with a trial of pay & display street parking, something that could be beneficial for companies leasing vans to make deliveries in residential areas.
Christina Onesirosan Martinez, marketing director of Parkopdedia.com, said that the company's data base is "constantly changing and growing".
"We want to make sure that all of our customers always have not just the latest but also the most comprehensive parking information available when they need it."
As well as being used by millions of drivers, Parkopedia's service is also utilised by firms such as the AA, with which the iPhone app was created.
