Pump engineers choose Vauxhall Vivaro

The Vauxhall Vivaro may be a vehicle to consider when selecting a van leasing option.

That was the choice made by pump maker SPP Pumps, which has just converted its entire 17-strong fleet to the van model.

It came to the decision after allowing its engineers to test a number of vans when selecting which to use.

They voted for the Vivaro due to its comfort and high-level specifications.

"The primary job of our engineers is to fix pumps," said operations manager John Warren.

"Driving is incidental to that and it's important that as they move between jobs they can do so in comfort and safety so that when they arrive at the customer they are less stressed and tired and able to work more effectively."

The Vivaro was first launched in 2001 and is available in panel van, minibus, combined bus/van and platform crew-cab configurations.

Other vans on offer from Vauxhall include the Movano, Combo and Astravan.
