10 things you should consider when deciding which van leasing company to use for you and your business

  1. First and foremost am I getting a good deal?
That may sound obvious but in today's market it's more crucial than ever. It's your right to get the best deal. Use the internet to find comparative quotes. We always quote the best deal possible and offer an industry leading price promise and money back guarantee. http://www.vanarama.co.uk/about-us/buyers-seven-point-guarantee.html
  2. Top of Google So what?
Ok, so we all want to be there. After all it's an important source of enquiries but, it doesn't tell you anything about the company you're dealing with apart from, they know how to make a website rank well. Most will have similar if not identical claims in their "about us" corporate spiel. "We are the UK's No. 1, blah blah blah" (they can't all be!). "We have (insert number) years' experience, blah blah blah". "We have this many qualifications or certificates blah blah blah". The big question is SO WHAT? What does that mean to you?
  3. How is my enquiry dealt with?
You'd like to think that the enquiry you have made would be seen as important and responded to appropriately if that's the case you should expect to get a response quickly. You certainly shouldn't have to chase them.
  4. Do they understand my needs? Do they care?
If the company that you're talking to does not understand your business needs, can you be 100% sure that you are being quoted on the right vehicle or the right payment plan? Remember they are supposed to be the experts and do this every day; you do it every few years.
  5. How well do they communicate with me?
You would think that the previous two points should not be an issue for any business that you speak to. Just because we are advocating that you should always get the best price, it does not mean you should compromise on the levels of advice and information received. EVERY customer we quote can expect an instant email containing the figures discussed, as well as a text message quotation. This will also be sent to you in the post along with a FREE and comprehensive buyers guide which you can also download here
  6. Are the quotes you have been given like for like?
Once you have your quotes, make sure that when you compare them they are all quoted on a like for like basis. More importantly make sure that they suit your business needs. So, for instance, if you're doing 15000 miles per annum, get a quote for that. Don't accept a quote for 10,000 miles. It's easy to think "I'll worry about that later" but time soon flies by, and the excess mileage charges will cost you a lot more in the long run.
  7. Are there any hidden charges?
Make sure you ask! To allow deals to appear more competitive there will be some companies out there who will want to charge you an admin fee just for the pleasure of doing business with them. Very often the first you will know about this, is after you have handed the deposit over and you have received a vehicle order confirmation. We never charge an admin fee!
  8. What if my circumstances change?
Lets face it, life is never simple. There are always things that happen that can give you cause to reconsider any big buying decision, or it could simply be that you have found a better deal elsewhere. That being the case the last thing you want to happen is that you can't get your deposit back and even worse the company that you have placed your order with wants to try and charge you three months rentals as "compensation" for lost profit. We believe that it is your right to cancel and if you do, then you should not be penalised for doing so. Our price promise guarantees as much! http://www.vanarama.co.uk/about-us/buyers-seven-point-guarantee.html
  9. I need pickuptruck accessories but I don't want to pay main dealer prices,
Most pickuptrucks are accessorised in some way. Not only can we save you as much as 50% on main dealer prices on a like for like basis but we can fit them prior to delivery AND include them in your monthly rental. So, not only will you save money, it will also be tax efficient.
  10. Will I get a good service?
Of course you should. Unfortunately, as we have already mentioned, a lot of companies out there don't believe that you should get both a great deal and good service. We believe the two are not mutually exclusive!

EVERY customer we lease a vehicle to is invited to review our service levels, and ALL of our staff are incentivized to deliver results particularly around customer satisfaction. At the time of writing we have had nearly 700 reviews as written by our customers published on our websites.

http://www.vanarama.co.uk/about-us/customer-testimonials.html

ALL are published - GOOD and BAD. Thankfully there's a lot more good than bad. Of course we do get it wrong occasionally - but we always put it right and we try to learn from mistakes. That is our ethos and it always will be.

What you won't find on our websites are a few hand picked "testimonials" with the same bad grammar and spelling mistakes.
