Sky's fleet of Vauxhall Vivaro vans have just been delivered to the television company which will be used by their installation teams to bring SKY TV to the people of Northern Ireland.
They were supplied by Belfast Fleet Management and the contract includes the supply of 70 Vauxhall Vivaro vans, customised to certain requirements.
Sierra Support Services will install the satellite dishes where needed, and each Vauxhall Vivaro has a custom paint job advertising the SKY logo and Homer Simpson.
The supply of Vauxhall Vivaros was part handled by Vauxhall Fleet Sales. The Vauxhall Vivaros were supplied over a two day period.
Each Vauxhall Vivaro features a 2.0 common - rail 2.0 CDTi engine and each Vauxhall Vivaro underwent rigorous inspections of the custom racking installation, roof racks, and paint job.
Jim Humphreys, a representative of Fleet Financials said: "The strong support, all the way from the factory to the dealer, was key to us winning the deal and supplying these vehicles.
"The Vivaro is rightly recognised as a national fleet vehicle, and because we've worked with the Vauxhall brand for the last 15 years, this gave us the absolute faith in the vehicles' abilities.
"Rather than supply a number of different makes and model of van, we were able to deliver 70 identical vehicles - a vital selling point. We're confident of the vans' capabilities, the servicing costs and the lack of down time through reliability issues - you can't afford to have this kind of vehicle off the road."
