Nissan Navara Acenta King Cab
The Nissan Navara Acenta King Cab crosses some of the best elements of a light commercial vehicle with comfort and safety for passengers. With bold, strong lines and the ability to carry an impressive payload, the double cab vehicle with room for five makes it suitable for a huge range of tasks – whether at work or play.
At the heart of this superior pick up truck is a powerful engine that delivers performance as well as efficiency. A 16-valve diesel engine produces 190 bhp and achieves a top speed of 112 mpg. The six-speed manual gearbox aids drivers to reach 0 to 62 mph in 10.8 seconds – which is striking when you consider the van has a 1990kg minimum kerbweight and accommodates a generous payload of 1120kg. Its dimensions are imposing, reaching 1.783m in height, 1.848m in width (excluding mirrors) and 5.296m in length. Despite its size, an effective power assisted steering system makes light work of manoeuvres.
Stylistically, the Navara Acenta King Cab incorporates bold, contemporary lines. Large bold-coloured bumpers and flared wheel arches add to its modern look, with small touches of chrome at the grille and 17" alloy wheels. The cab includes single row doors, while the tailgate has a one-handed release mechanism for ease of use.
In the cab, everything is designed to make journeys less arduous and more enjoyable, whether you are the driver or a passenger. A 60/40 split foldable rear bench seat creates more room when necessary and adds convenience to the layout of the cab, while the passenger and driver seats are adjustable. The driver has lumbar support, a height adjustable seat and technology such as Bluetooth phone integration and a radio and CD player. There are all of the safety features you'd expect – including driver and passenger air bags and three-point rear seatbelts.
While not as luxurious as some of the other Navara options, this is a strong, bold and comfortable option as a heavy-duty multi-purpose vehicle.
