Compact yet spacious
The NV200 has been designed to be a compact vehicle that offers ‘big van’ capability. It leads its class in so many ways - load volume and length and low floor height. And Nissan has made sure that the driver gets class-leading comfort too – the cabin is spacious, with lots of storage and offers a high, ‘SUV’’ type driving position, offering easy access and great visibility. There are a total of 13 storage areas in the cabin, ensuring you keep your driving space clear. Emissions are class leading too – only 137g/km.
Power comes in the shape of a powerful yet economic 1.5 DCi turbo diesel engine that offers 200Nm of torque, combined with a smooth five=speed transmission.
All models come with twin side loading doors as standard, most models also have the option of either glazed or unglazed rear doors, and the Combi variant is available with tailgate or asymmetric rear doors. Opt for the combi style and you can transport between five and seven passengers, and the seats fold fully in order to maximise cargo area when you need it. Whichever version you choose, the exterior remains compact with a 10.6m turning circle, making it easy to manoeuvre around narrow city streets and park.
Impressive loading area
The loading area can accommodate two Euro pallets and the cargo volume adds up to an impressive 4.2m3. Interior lengths measures 2.04m, while the width between wheel arches is 1.22m. Loading height is 52.4cm, which makes it easier on your back when loading and unloading, and standard floor hooks help to keep that load secure. You can also choose to have a mesh folding or solid steel bulkhead, two sliding rear doors, and rear glazing if you wish.
Choose the rear-view camera and you’ll have eyes in the back of your head when reversing, thanks to the full colour screen in the cabin.

Only had it a week but spacious and economical, looks like it will be perfect for my needs.
Barbara Bellamy said on June 06 2016
Very pleased, I would definitely get another for our fleet.
John O'Sullivan said on May 03 2016
So far so good, I have only done 200 miles. Nice an easy to drive. Could do with more storage in cabin, thought it came with centre console but plenty of space in rear. Reversing camera is in a awkward place, easy to use if reversing in a straight line. I am getting around 35mpg.
Nicholas Potter said on March 29 2016
I am very pleased with the Nissan at the moment, quite nippy even when loaded which backs up my decision to go for the 110hp instead of the 90hp. Enough room in the back for my tools and materials. I like the bluetooth and reversing camera. The only negative is the lack of storage space in the cab but in truth this was pointed out on a previous review so I was aware of this anyway, this might stop me from cluttering the front up with rubbish.
David Bowers said on January 05 2016
Rear number plate light has dropped out and the gear change indicator is permanently on, this will be sorted out by my local dealer - no big deal! Otherwise does exactly what it says on the tin. Ply lining is spot on.
Adam Metcalf said on November 13 2015
The van itself is great. It came with a lot of things that I didn't think would come as standard eg. reverse parking camera. Its nice to drive and the MPG is a bonus. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the quality of workmanship regarding the ply-lining, which you guys already know about. It looks like a DIY job and in hindsight I should have done it myself. I will be emailing the photos of the ply-lining over today.
Keith Elsender said on September 29 2015
I was very impressed with the layout of it and it is very practical with sliding doors on either side.🚐🚐 . Thank you very much
mick shinwell said on September 02 2015
The size is a bonus over other similar vans and drives like a car. It can be a bit bouncy due to small wheels, but it's not an issue. I rate it as a big small van or a small big van. Would recommend one to any business and you can get some good deals on a new buy.
Darian Pool said on July 23 2015

Apart from a gearbox problem, which was easily fixed, so far so good.
Jon Parke said on July 08 2015
Very economical and a comfortable drive.
Frances Bottomley said on May 13 2015
Great for money.
Michaela Drew said on May 12 2015
Generally pleased apart from the lack of usable cabin storage space and the inability to alter seat-belt height. Window switch position causes uncomfortable leg position due to its impact on leg position. Design issue detract from overall satisfaction.
Robert Francis Tremain said on February 03 2015
It is a good vehicle with smart looks and ease of driving. It is almost a pleasure to go to work.
CHRISTOPHER JACK said on February 02 2015
Too early to say only had 25miles in it.

Andrew Wraight said on February 13 2013
A very good van, very compact yet spacious at the same time. The engine is quiet and very nippy for a 1.5l. The dash display is good with an excellent rear view reversing camera. Fuel economy is great on these Nissan NV's, so another good reason to pick it so as to keep costs down. Only problem is it can be blown about a bit in high wind (but most other vans do as well), and the bulk head takes up a bit of the rear space (but their is an alternative opening mesh bulkhead to give more room which I will probably put in it at some point). So no serious problems with this van. Overall it is an excellent van for the work I am doing (Roofing, building, property maintenance), I just hope I get a lot of years out of it with few problems because I have had enough problems recently with second hand vans!

Emily Stritser said on August 01 2012
My only complaint is that the space in the back is not as large as I would have hoped. I am having to downsize one of my crates but it is not the end of the world. It is very comfortable up front for me and is lovely to drive. I love the feature where I get a little TV screen when I am reversing- very handy!!
Paul Byrne said on February 24 2012
an ideal vehicle for my needs - great standard spec
Daley Cleverley said on November 18 2011
Joe Simpson said on August 24 2011
Double sliding side doors a great feature. Good load capacity. Excellent visibility. Reasonable performance given the good MPG figures. A lot more for your money that some smaller vans. Excellent gearbox and very positive brakes. All in all, a very good small commercial vehicle.
Mark Hansford said on August 24 2011
I love it! it is the perfect sized van for my work, it is cheap to run, practical & after working from the back of an estate car for the last 4 years it is utter luxury. Thank you Vanarama.
