The Toyota Hilux HL3 2012 double cab pick up is not only great value for money but you get plenty of space for the price as well.
You probably wouldn't say it's the prettiest pick up on the market but it is a perfect budget option for a working vehicle, and most importantly, it will deliver when it comes to taking it out on the road. The 3.0 litre diesel engine gives 34mpg and 253 lbs-ft of torque, perfect for carrying a very heavy load. Certainly the Hilux HL3 can do just that - the cargo area will take more than 1100kg despite its medium size. The loading space is 1515mm x 1520mm x 450mm which compared to other pick ups of the same size is impressive.
In addition to this the Toyota Hilux is a fair bit cheaper to run than many of its rivals, yet continues to gain a reputation as one of the most reliable pick-ups on the current market. Inside you can seat 5 passengers, and the rear seats can be tipped back when needed. You'll also find a touchscreen Sat Nav and a rear view camera; rather snazzy mod cons for a hardy working pick up. There are not many other bells and whistles but those that it does have are genuinely useful, including the standard Toyota features such as air conditioning, air recirculation system, twin airbags, alarm and central locking, and ABS.Storage space within the cabin is generous, with front and rear cup holders, locking glove box and even rear under-seat storage.
For a pick up at this price level you would deserve less than you'd get with the Toyota Hilux HL3. Despite its lack of pizazz, this is an affordable pick up which will perform well and is certainly built to last.
