  • Hi I am about to go self employed as a courier driver although I will be working for a single courier company. Initially I will be hiring a van through the company I will be working for, but longer term I would prefer to buy my own. As I am expecting mileage in the 30k range per year I’m not sure what would be most cost effective solution for me? Also what financial criteria would I need to meet in order to be able to complete a contract with Vanarama? Type of van would be a Berlingo or equivalent. Thanks for any info you can give Kenny

  • Hi, i am interested in leasing a pickup from vanarama. I currently run a gardening business. In order to lease do I need to show proof of income? My income last year was quite low (only £8000) But i now have took on more work, I just do not have the proof yet. Also, if i were to lease from you, do I have to organise insurance through vanarama? Reason i'm asking is that i'm only 23 and pickup inaurance is extremely high for my age, i obtain my insurance through a local business which I get for very much cheaper than other insurers. So i'm wondering if I were to lease from you guys am I able to organise my own insurAnce? Thank you

  • Hi My sister Angie-Leigh McPike recently received a new Ford Ranger pick up from Vanarama around mid December, I am unsure f the exact date. I am her brother and also a guarantor for the pick up. As part of the deal to get the van I had to pay a £1000 deposit on the van on my sisters behalf and I understand I would receive £820 back as there was admin cost of £180. I am wondering when I would receive the £820 back as I was told I would get the money back when the van got delivered. My sister has told me she has phoned and spoke to you about the matter but I don’t think she has been giving me the correct information and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
