Crew vans are a great compromise for a company that needs a vehicle that offers great payload capacity but also has the ability to carry more than three passengers. It’s also perfect for transporting the work’s team along to their regular five-a-side match!
Access to the passenger cab is easy through the two large sliding side doors while the payload doors at the rear open wide enough to enable a wide variety of goods to be loaded without difficulty. Leg room is sufficient for adults to be carried long distances without discomfort.
Side windows enhance passenger comfort and the long wheel base version of this van still has the ability to carry up to 4.2 cubic metres of goods in payloads of up to 1083 kgs. Powered by a 2.0 litre diesel turbo engine, the Vivaro produces 115 bhp and returns a combined mpg figure of 35.3.
Although the presence of the second row of seats shortens the overall load length, addition space under the rear bulkhead means you can still store longer items like ladders without difficulty.
The Sportive label means this particular van comes with additional driver comfort features and a sportier look. Among the added features are air conditioning, electric front windows and a choice of metallic or pearlescent paint. 16-inch alloy wheels means it looks the business too.
The CD/radio unit supplied as standard has Bluetooth functionality to make it both safe and easy to use your mobile phone while you are on the road. The unit can also play MP3 files that have been burned to CD and also comes with an auxiliary-in socket allowing you to play music from your own personal music player or phone through the vehicle’s speaker system.
Safety is always an important factor with commercial vehicles and the Vivaro comes with anti-lock brakes as standard, helping to protect both your crew and your cargo.
